He enjoys a reputation of a Transformation Leader, Change Mechanic, People Coach and a Disruptive Thinker on conventional HR methodologies. He holds to his credit some major organization change and transformation projects. In his words “It’s all about HRs ability to facilitate growth of Financial Capital, but how? It’s about knowing your professional foundation, having a design to your chosen profession, the roots that earn you a reputation of a trustworthy and credible partner”. Kamran enrolled and attained the SHRM certification through HR Metrics in August 2020. He attended Institute of Business Management, (IoBM) for Business Studies and holds a degree in Commerce from University of Karachi (KU). The two SHRM certifications include the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials. The SHRM credentials have been developed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). By attaining SHRM credentials, HR professionals like Kamran gain the ability to master core competencies required to succeed in today’s challenging business environment. As an accomplished HR professional Kamran puts HR right at the very core of the organization coining the term HR- The CAPITAL PARTNER. He elucidated this term in his words by saying “At the end it’s all about growing Financial Capital. But that is only possible when all other forms of Capitals are working in a coherent way. HR is the organization’s nucleus, responsible for enabling growth of all other forms of Capitals”. He added, this not only requires a solid professional foundation but an integrated, proven system of evidence based HR Management that enables continuous innovation and Organizational Capital Growth” that SHRM has to offer. He defines his journey of SHRM- SCP Certification to be a profound learning experience.
In Pakistan, SHRM Certifications have been introduced by Zahid Mubarik SHRM-SCP, GPHR, SPHRi, CEO HR Metrics. The SHRM Certification provided by HR Metrics is recognized globally in all industries. HR Metrics is a consulting and training firm, which offers competency-based SHRM Certification, ISO Global HR Standards Certification and Audit, HR Data, Analytics, and Diversity & Inclusion management tools to optimize organizational performance. The SHRM Certification preparatory course by HR Metrics is designed primarily for individuals seeking SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification. Other services provided by HR Metrics include many that allow organizations to align workforce performance with the organization’s performance based on evidence-based data, analytics framework, e.g., the ISO 30414 Human Capital Reporting Guidelines Certification and GDIB Standards. Lastly, the HR Magazine “Workforce Tomorrow” by HR Metrics provides global insight on local best practices for developing people management strategy in terms of employment branding, talent acquisition, retention, development, leadership growth, HR technology, diversity, innovation, and ethics.
Kamran in his dialogue with HR Metrics team attributed his success to his belief of being a Capital Partner to the organization referring to SHRM certification as a carefully crafted method for accomplishing crucial Knowledge, Skills and Attributes, that he terms “mandatory” to attain individual career aspirations including increased chances of earning a role at the C- Suite and becoming an effective leader.
It is imperative for HR professionals to continually learn and adapt to be relevant, as proven by Kamran’s example;
“Your ability to evolve with time leads to organizational rapid success and growth”.
