Nene Molefi

Nene Molefi is a distinguished Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consultant, facilitator, and CEO of Mandate Molefi Human Resource Consultancy. Notably, she is also a co-author of the Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmark (GDEIB) Standards. A South African and former witness to the Apartheid era, Nene has developed a transformative dialogue model that addresses exclusion by exploring complex dynamics between participants and observers within organizational systems. Her work supports companies, from large corporations to non-profits and schools, in building inclusive cultures that align stakeholder and shareholder goals.

With a deep commitment to systemic change, Nene has crafted a 10-step iterative culture change model that addresses barriers to inclusion embedded within organizations, fostering sustainable, impactful change. Her expertise extends to facilitating sensitive discussions for the South African judiciary, covering High Courts, Supreme Courts, and the Constitutional Court. As an author, she penned A Journey of Diversity and Inclusion in South Africa, and is a sought-after global speaker. Nene also serves on the advisory board for the Auditor General of South Africa, lectures at GIBS, and holds board roles at The Centre for Global Inclusion.
